Hey everyone, welcome back to the final episode of the LinkedIn profile tips series. I'm so excited to close this out and give you guys some tips that are going to enable you to really get your profile dialed in from top to bottom, which is truly the whole goal. That's the goal that we want to accomplish as you guys are optimizing, as you are optimizing your profile. So.

The first thing I want to tell you is your experience section gives you the ability to add a ton of information. So you can do some storytelling. You can add some keywords and then you can also add images as well as links in that section to point people to all the various places that you want them to go. And when I'm working with my clients and students what I tell them is you want to really look at the last

you know, five to six years of experience section. And that's what I would focus on the most at making sure that it's dialed in because people typically aren't going to go further than that. So those are the areas that I would focus on first. OK, the other things that you want to add in your experience section are your awards and your certifications, making sure that those things are in there. You can add licenses.

as well. You can add in any PR that you've been featured in. So really you want to make sure that everything that you can is put into the platform. And that's going to enable you the most visibility. It's going to give you the most opportunities to actually be found on the platform. So those are really the last few things that you need to do to finish

the process and if you are tuning into part four and you haven't tuned into part three or part two or part one, my advice is go back to the beginning and really get your profile super dialed in. Now, I do want to give you some bonuses today because there has been some new updates on LinkedIn. One of those new updates that's available is you can now have a premium company page.

Jordan Mendoza (02:24.664)
And when LinkedIn rolled this out, what they're actually doing for people that want to give it a test run, because maybe you'd never had a premium account for your personal page, why would I invest the close to 70 bucks for this on my company page? So they're letting everyone test it out for 30 days, and it does give you some pretty cool tools. So definitely check it out. Let me know that if you are going to be testing this out for yourself, if you're going to be using it.

And I'm going to be giving everybody my complete feedback once I've exhausted the 30 days. And you'll definitely know if I've decided to renew or not, or if I've decided to, you know, kibosh premium company pages. So that is one new update on the platform. Another update that is pretty interesting is LinkedIn now is giving everyone the ability to feature your recommendations in your featured section.

So, you know what I have featured in my featured section is my LinkedIn newsletter and I advise everyone to kind of pick a couple things that you could feature You know one if you can because that's really best driving traffic to one place but now with the Addition to this new feature. I think it is very interesting to add in your profile recommendation. So, you know have your main CTA that you want

And then on the back end of that, however many recommendations you have, if you can actually put those in there because that puts other people's experience with you front and center. And I think that is going to add a ton of value to that featured section. So I would love to hear from you after you listen to this episode. Message me on LinkedIn, message me on another platform, send me an email, and I'd love to hear from you. Is this something you're going to take advantage of? Do you see the value in...

being able to give that social proof or that credibility from people that have worked with you right front and center in your featured section. Let me know if you're going to try it. I'd definitely love to know. And this one was super quick, folks. Again, I'm excited about giving the ability to help you guys with optimization of your LinkedIn profiles. I hope that you listen to all four of these episodes and you take action.

Jordan Mendoza (04:49.08)
You know, that's the biggest thing guys, if you don't take action, nothing is going to happen. So go out, take action, get your profile super dialed in from top to bottom. Check out these new features and let me know what you're going to do. Are you going to use these things? You're going to try them out yourself? I would definitely love to know. And I cannot wait for next week. We have another exciting guest interview dropping and I cannot wait for that to be released. Have an awesome week.
